Bienvenue aux participants du CAV! Join us this Friday, July 26th for a hike up Mont Royal, departing the Omni Hotel at 6:30am sharp. We will head North on Rue Peel, passing through the Golden Square Mile and begin our ascent up the Grand Staircase of Mont Royal. Upon reaching the Chalet, we will stop for a photo opportunity featuring stunning views of downtown Montreal and the St. Lawrence Seaway. After catching our breath there, we will then proceed for a leisurely descent through Mont Royal Park, passing by Beaver Lake. Making our way down Rue Guy, we will return to Station Guy-Concordia around 7:30-8am, leaving time to wash up and enjoy the morning sessions. The initial grade is quite steep, consisting of approximately 339 steps, with a total elevation gain of 153m. All are welcome!
