Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Toronto, 370 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Reservations can be made here. One can get to the conference venue from the airport either by train or taxi.

Train:
The best way to travel to the city centre is by train:
http://www.torontopearson.com/en/toandfrom/upexpress/#
It will take 25 minutes, and the trains leave every 15 minutes. The roundtrip ticket costs $24 ($12 each way), and can be purchased in advance. You should select Union Station as your destination. From Union Station, you can either take a 10-12 minute walk to the conference hotel, or hop into one of the taxis that line up in the front and get there faster. The taxi ride should cost you less than $10.
During the morning or evening rush, if you are hauling a suitcase, you may want to walk along Wellington Street (in contrast to King or Front) to avoid pedestrian traffic. Toronto is a very safe city, and walking anywhere at any hour (even alone) is completely fine.

Taxi:
The conference hotel is located in downtown Toronto. There are flat rate taxis ($45) and limousines ($55) to get from the airport to any location downtown. However, note that these are subject to availability and at peak times, one or the other may not be available.
Toronto has terrible traffic jams during the morning and evening rush hours. If you are travelling at these times, the above flat rate may not be available to you. Even if cost is not a concern to you, during the rush hour the trip to/from the airport could easily take 90-120 minutes. The train option will deterministically take 25+10 minutes.
